Amidst of the existing dilemma that we are facing today, fellow people are entangled with different questions brought by perhaps their curiosity or maybe out of their petty observations. Questions including “who really is our enemy? This mischievous virus or the hideous government and set of leaders?”


So unexpectedly the number of infected people just rised , from a single foreign woman it just went to spread almost all over the whole country and the whole world. Right now people got really scared and screwed, well what should we expect? It’s really risky fighting something we cannot see and knowing the fact that it already killed not just hundreds but thousands of people regardless of their status.

There are countries , including Philippines launched and declared a massive “enhance community quarantine” in each of the provinces, it means no one is allowed to go outside without any permission , all classes from all levels are suspended and even government stablishment and private offices were closed. It is to control and prevent the continuous spreading of the virus. The government also have their programs which is aiming to assess and suffice the needs of the people in the affected areas.

But! For how long does the government can support and give the needs of its people?
Imagine,For just about 2 weeks the government already spent millions of cost and government’s fund might not suffice if this intense home quarantine policy will be extended. Right now people are complaining for money and for being in hunger! This leads for some conceptions of defiance and opposing the rules and regulations implemented by the government. We can not blame people for misbehaving, we can not blame parents who is just worried for their children, we can not blame people who is worried to die sick and starving. Yet we must all be open to understand and to cope up in such situations. We are free to ask then, for help and assistance, just built ourselves with the mindset of calmness and clarity and through this we could have make it without causing any harm to ourselves and to anybody.

“The government is in control”. That is what we know and that is what we all hope, and for all of us to get through this issue, this problem, all we need to do is to embody discipline to be able to take care of ourselves and our family. Let’s just listen and follow instructions from the authorities, from the professionals and officials to promote peace and to keep our safety. In one hand, in one mind and hope let’s fight our real enemy! This crazy virus who broke the silence in our country. Let us help one another, our health workers, our nation to rise from this crisis, to move on and to have progress.

Virus is not Just a virus! It’s deadly, it harms and kills,and now it’s threatening the world and success becoming pandemic! But we are FILIPINO and we have the power over it . The key is just Unity, understanding, and lastly the faith to Our ALMIGHTY!
